La muerte empieza como un estado mental, y la tomas como gustes.

En esta ilustración trato de mirar a la muerte de frente, comprenderla, pero sobre todo aceptarla, verla como un estado mental que puede ser combatido pero no abatido, pues la muerte hay que aceptarla y recibirla con paz mental.

La representación de un rostro que se muestre en paz y calmado resulta vital para el mensaje, ya que a través de la línea simple con la que materializado la mujer y los colores frescos y vivos de la flor, todo unido al blanco, evoca precisamente un estado de paz y de calma, donde parece que en cualquier momento la mujer va a suspirar o a abrir los ojos.

In this illustration, I try to look at death head-on, understand it, but above all accept it, see it as a state of mind that can be fought but not killed, because death must be accepted and received with peace of mind.

The representation of a face that is shown in peace and calm is vital for the message, since through the simple line with which the woman materialized and the fresh and vivid colours of the flower, all together with white, it precisely evokes a state of peace and calm, where it seems that at any moment the woman will sigh or open her eyes.
